The Story of This Crystal
These two faden quartz crystals come from a vertical quartz band in compact slate. We found them on an early summer outing: in a steep section of forest, a landslide had freshly exposed the band, and we were able to recover the crystals by hand. What luck! Watch the linked video to see which cleft these two special finds came from.
