Documented Find
Mountain crystal double ended
Clear quartz crystal that's fully formed on both sides. The piece features several points. It was a "floater" in the crystal pocket, not attached to the host rock, but found loose in the middle of the pocket. The crystal consists not only of clear quartz but also of small, white calcites (see photo). Perfect as a lucky charm, decorative piece, or gift.

The Story of This Crystal
We discovered this pocket during a spring outing. A landslide in the forest exposed the quartz vein, and we were basically able to just pick the crystals right out. Check out the linked Instagram video to see how we found these crystals.
